LEED Certified Buildings
What is LEED certification?
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a national rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for developing sustainable buildings. The LEED certification is a process in which a building is rated based on energy efficiency, sustainable development and building materials, water conservation and indoor air quality. A way to measure how 'green' a building is and as an effective tool to rate and standardize sustainable building practices, LEED building design is a step towards an environmentally conscious sustainable future.
